Privacy Policy
This policy explains how UoKCSA collects, uses and protects your personal information.
What we collect
When you register as a member or use a form, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email, phone, registration number, faculty, course, year, campus, membership category, Bible Study group and affiliation interest. We do not collect more than is necessary for the association's operations.
How we use it
Your information is used to manage membership, match you with a Bible Study group and ministry, communicate about events and announcements, issue certificates and process bookings and enquiries. We never sell your data.
Storage and security
Personal data is stored securely and access is restricted to authorised administrators. Passwords are never stored in plaintext. Roles and permissions are enforced server-side so that only appropriate users can access sensitive records.
Sharing
We share information only where necessary to run the association — for example with the Chaplaincy or University administration through the Dean of Students — and only to the extent required.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or removal of your personal data by contacting the association. Verification of certificate authenticity uses only the certificate number and does not expose your personal details to the public.
